BMW M2 G87 — Performance Parts Guide
Why the G87 is Different from the F87
The G87 M2 is not an F87 refresh — it is an entirely new car on the CLAR platform. The engine moved from the S55 (a detuned M4 unit) to the full S58 from the M3/M4, making the G87 arguably more powerful relative to its weight than any previous M2. The switch to 5×112 bolt pattern (from 5×120) aligns the G87 with the G80 and G82, meaning all three share wheel fitment compatibility.
Most importantly for seats: the G87 shares parts of the front seat platform with the G80 M3 and G82 M4. G87 owners can review listings from those platforms, but the exact rails, connectors, and included hardware still need to be confirmed for the vehicle.

Do BMW M3 G80 or M4 G82 carbon fiber seats fit the M2 G87?
The G87 M2, G80 M3, and G82 M4 share parts of the G-series seat platform, but individual fitment depends on the listing, included rails, connectors, and chassis confirmation. Some aftermarket and track applications may require additional rails, wiring or hardware.
How much do BMW M2 G87 carbon fiber bucket seats cost?
New from BMW, M Competition carbon seats cost $7,000–$12,000 per seat. ApexCarbon sells genuine OEM G87-compatible carbon bucket seats from $4,500 per pair, pulled from low-mileage M vehicles and shipped from Houston, TX.
Do G87 carbon fiber seats keep seat heating and side airbags?

What trim colors are available for G87 carbon bucket seats?
Available colorways depend on donor vehicle specification and change as inventory moves. Current options — full black Alcantara, black/blue, and Merino leather configurations — are listed on each individual product page.
